Property tax appeal appraisals
If your assessment looks too high, a certified appraisal is strong evidence for the Board of Review.
Common reasons to order
- Board of Review assessment appeals
- Checking your assessment against market value
- Appeals after a purchase, damage or a market drop
What you get
- A value as of the assessment date the Board uses, when needed
- A signed report from an Illinois Certified Residential Appraiser
- A report you or your attorney can file with your appeal
How it works
- Send a request online or call. Al calls you back with the fee and the first opening.
- You sign an engagement agreement that sets the intended use, users, scope, fee, cancellation and delivery terms before any work starts. Payment is due before the inspection unless alternative terms are agreed to in writing.
- Al inspects and measures the home.
- You get a signed report.
